Before & After

An old friend called me yesterday. He said his daughtes were playing in a Soccer Tournament near my home. He invited me out to watch the games and catch up on old times.

Of course I accepted and took my camera along. I must admit taking action shots is tougher than it looks. I got a few winners. But this one photo, Popup Link Before although slightly out of focus, yielded some pretty good (IMHO) finished shots. Let me know what you think.

Nice before and after! I like 2 also. More of a sense of intensity. After one seems odd to me. Ball being cut off seems to make the bottom seem cramped and the player isn't the one going for the ball. It makes the shot somewhat disjointed. Best teacher for action shots is experience. Keep it up!

AFTER 1 really catches my eye. The photo captures the intensity and emotion of the game as expressed by those playing it. This photography is by far the most demanding, in my opinion

Action shots are very hard for me to capture, too; you did pretty good here, and I like the second after shot best.
