Bovine In The Mist

I took advantage of the fog yesterday morning to hit a few of the farms in the surrounding area. I had a photo in mind and did not really get what I was after, but did get a few interesting shots. Maybe the snow coming tonight will get me the shot I want.

Then I went down to the Bison farm and got a few shots, nothing spectacular.

Nice shots, of the Bison in particular. But...you are wrong: that Bison On The Hill shot is spectacular!

They ARE spectacular....especially to someone who has never seen a hairy cow before. LOL! I love all the shots! Bison on the hill is my favorite!

I agree with everybody else, Bison on hill is wonderful. I think I may have cropped it a little differently just to get him away from dead centre. Still, it's a great shot'

Today I'll be different. I really like no trespassing. I like the hint of the barn in the back as well. And what are those cows called--I know they're from Scotland.

These are great, Paul! I really, really like bison 5 and I agree on maybe a tighter crop on the bison on the hill; it's still a fantastic shot, though!

Thanks for all the compliments, I guess I was critical because I did not get the shot I was after. The long haired cattle are indeed Scottish Highland cows. The only breed that will face the wind in a storm.....it mats the hair against them for warmth.

Yeah, That Bison shot is a great one. They should have a TV show called "Divine Bovine" All about how to decaorate a Cow

OK, here is my 2 cents worth: Bovine5 is Outstanding! Good color, great contrast, well framed. The fog makes an excellent background. And the look in that guy's eye . . .! Bison 2 is also a good shot. If I had taken the photo I would crop it thusly: http://images.photographica.org/images/user_images/Porkchop/PAMouse_B2.jpg As for Bison on Hill: Outstanding capture. yo Paulie....whats with the hairy cows...looks great , they must listen to Motzart. Like some have said ..with a tighter cropping, that fool...opps I mean ...bison on the hill would look even better...good work..hey and hows the new job going.. :)
