This is my first entry - hope I did this right. Took this at our property in NC. My husband split the rails and built a fence around a lookout bench in memory of a departed friend. Your comments, critique (yes, I truly mean it) & suggestions would be welcome.

Agree with Peteyboy, very nice composition. One can feel the serenity of the area. After your husband helps with Peteyboy's fence can he organize my garage?

Very nice first post! Welcome to the site. I like how it appears to be same sort of wood making the fence...like the fence's brothers are looking down at it in its current state. Pretty picture, for sure.

Thanks all! Appreciate the kind words & looking forward to e-talking with everyone. Yes, this is the Smokies - just outside of Asheville. (The hubby would like nothing better than to ditch consulting & return to gentleman farming. So your fencework sounds great to him, Peteyboy. &, colbb, yep - he's a garage organizer too. Wait 'til you see the garage wall he built - tomorrow). :-)

beautiful nature shot. I love all the angles in your picture. Having the fence come to angle at the center of your picture really draws us in!
