the "soldier" i found lying on the beach
so after shooting it i took it home for further photo adventures...... you'll probably be sorry you asked
actually i'm not against the war ..my opinion is and was "somebody" had to kick Saddam's ass and the only person that was ready to was Bush et al. What bothers me the most was the "rationalization" and scare mongering lead up to the actual event....we are not stupid...we know when we are being lied to
Wow... you guys are deep... I am impressed. I understood each aspect of the photo, but wasn't sure of the total message. Thanks for straightening me out. I am with you Dirk on this one.
In general, it is not in my nature to discuss politics, especially in a 'non-political' forum such as this. I do have a question though: how exactly did attacking yet another country that did nothing to the U.S.A. make us safer?
I love you guys and respect you Dirkbag, but I still don't understand why people are confusing 9-11 with Iraq. Disgruntled Saudi citizens led by an Afghan terrorist did the deed. But, they're all Ay-Rabs and who can tell the difference?
The freedom and democracy you are talking about is the freedom of the oil companies to make an honest business deal with the leadership of a country without getting cheated by that government and keeping its "nationalist" citizens from protesting too much.
Interesting convo here. Nobody mentions Iraq's location though. Saddam had a good piece of land. Attacking Iran from Iraq is a good plan.
Dennis is right though I believe they knew they were lying. They should have just said Iran is going to have nuclear capabilities really soon and we need more real estate in order to stage our offensive.
Ahh no one would have wanted to go to war then.
