Giddy like a schoolgirl...

As the Vancouverites can attest, we had one of the most awesome lightning storms in years last night. This is really one area that digital cameras excel... You can go through so many wasted shots before finally capturing that

one elusive fork.

incredible shot!! both the lightning and thunder scared the crap out of the cat, but i never even thought of trying to capture it..

Wow! I'd love to give that a try, but most of our storms so far this season have been late at night...or while at work. Cool shot. I've even had this bookmarked for awhile, but haven't put it into practice: how-to.

Wow! cool how-to! I wanted to use bulb-mode, but I don't have a remote-release. :\ I just set up the tripod, set the shutter speed for 30s and hoped for the best!
