This also from treasure island. I tried to figure out this exposure based on previous shots using kodacrome nothing worked so i just put camera on auto and this is what happened.
Actually it is about 6:00 P.M. and the traffic was light. The camera should have recorded the tail lights of some cars, but thats the way it goes sometime.
What I love the most about road shots like that are when people change lanes. If you look closely at the bottom left, somebody is changing langes. The only evidance is what you'd think is a dashed line, but is actually the blinker :-)
For bonus points, if the speed limit is 55 miles an hour, and the span of the bridge is (say) 2000 feet, what is the shutter speed?
Heh. Your picture didn't have enough cars for that story problem. I love thinking about those kinds of numbers in my head with night shots. I think it would be easier to figure if it was pictures of stars...
Nice
