I came across these pictures while "cleaning up" my files. They're from last summer's Bristol (WI not UK) Renaissance Faire. A prettily landscaped garden Popup LinkGate led to the Popup LinkJousting field barns. When you peek behind the shops, you'll often find a great vignette like this Popup LinkFountain. I think the tricky part about taking pics at a place like this is getting a moment when there are no patrons in the photo - wait, wait, wait, wait, then snap quick before the kiddies run back into the scene :-) And to all those parents out there who make their kiddies wait until someone who's obviously setting up to take a photo is done --- THANK YOU!!!!

  • not just parent/kids; I have noticed that ADULTS are often the ones oblivious/ambivilant to photos being taken

Nice color on all the shots. I've often wanted to go to the Faire, as it's only about 50 miles south of me, but never have. Isn't it strange that we tend to travel great distances to see things, but not short distances?

    - Mmmmmm... Multiplicative

  • Cool shots! I like the feel of the Jousting building. Sort of feels like Disneyland's Snow White castle.
