The Praying Mantis on My Porch

    Yep, we've got plenty, too.  (I live just south of St. Louis)  When I was out watering the other day, there were HUNDREDS of the babies on one of my statues; kinda freaky looking.....Good shot, BTW!

    Nope, not poisonous. We have them (though they're somewhat rare) in the inland Pacific Northwest. They're pretty cool! Nice shot--you found the most photogenic mantis in the US!
