I took a walk around the 'hood and saw this

front door and thought I'd snap a shot. Moments later, the darn

sprinkler came on !!! Anybody know what type of

tree this is?? Saw another house being worked on and asked the lady of the house if I could photograph her front

door ... "sure,no problem" she said. So I got a

closer look at it, and then her mother came out shouting" YOU CANT DO THAT !! THAT'S PRIVATE PROPERTY ! DON'T YOU NEED PERMISSION TO DO THAT? " the old lady wanted to see my badge; I showed her my SBC badge that I always wear.She said" well... that's better!" lol... silly old lady, bless her heart!

I love the mimosa--we used to have two when I was a kid and I loved them. We always played with the seed pods. The first door is lovely--pretty little vignette.

My folks have a couple of Mimosa's at home. And there's a huge one down the street from me that I pass when I go out for a walk. The Sprinkler pic is my fav!

Watch out if you have a Mimosa in your yard, though. They spring up all over the place, like your garden, in the sidewalk, EVERYWHERE. Mimosa's love to multiply! Good pic.

The tree looks like one that I had in my yard when I lived in TX. I took a clipping to a botonist and he said it was a "Mexican bird of paradise". It had the same flowers and was small and bushy just like this one.
As for the rest of the pics, all of them are great, the sprinkler is great, almost an abstract.

Guess someone forgot about the timer on sprinkler or did someone just do this to you in order to get a "chuckle". Like the glass in the lady's front door.
