As I was cleaning out the "Photo Drawer" (you know the one. . . Photos I like, but will never do anything with) the other day, I came across some that I had taken while on vacation a year or so ago and thought I would share them with y'all.

First is a set of Popup Linkcobblestones that I accidently captured when I set the camera on the ground to find a filter in the bag.  When I picked it up, it went off.

Next is a close up of the Popup Linkferns up the road.  The guy has a very nearly perfect garden and these were in there, way in the back of the property.

As we move on, I found these little Popup Linkpurple things in a field.  I liked them, so I grabbed a shot or two.

And finally, I found this Popup Linklittle pairing.  I still do. . .

So, what do you think?  Worth keeping? or should I toss them out?

  • I would keep ferns and cobblestone - for sure!  They are great.  I like that the camera, itself, decided to take the photo!

    Thanks everyone. . .

JoJames1, the camera had to take that one of the cobblestones itself, there was no way in the world I was going to be able to get down that low, take a photo, and then get back up.  One of the hazards of getting old I guess.

  • Where can I get that camera that takes good picture on it's own? When it gets in my hands I screw it up  :)

  • Absolute keepers!  Cobblestones is outstanding and I love the fiddleheads (that is what they are, isn't it?).  And while flower pics aren't my favorites, the purples are so delicate and clean!  And I like the yellow flowers too!  Great post.

  • Great shots! I like the cobblestones shot the mostest, but I say never throw any pix out...you might find one of the ones you're not so sure about might work as a blurred background for something else, or if cropped might work as an icon or something. And I think "ferns" might be an outtake from "War of the Worlds".
