Chef, On the two building shots I think I would have gone with less sky and more ground. However I suspect you may have been trying to keep cars parked on the street out of the shot. So that I totally would understand. The B & W definitely works on the Barney Building.

I like all the rest. Bon Appetit

you are correct..I didn't like the car in the pics so thats the reason for the crop...cars got to love them...when you need to go somewhere that is.

The bridge photo is aptly named!  I love the lonely girl, and building 2 is great in b&w.

Ahhh, if only there had been Packards, Chevys, Fords, Chryslers, Dodges from the 1930s and 1940s....would have fit Barney Building perfectly...but this ain't a perfect world. Toyotas, Hondas, VWs and such from 2005 just don't fit the mood.

Good use of B&W on Barney bldg. Oh, and I love the look on lonely's face. She seems to be a thousand miles away.

    - Mmmmmm... Multiplicative

Love lonely.  And agree with Pyro--would love to know what she's thinking.

Yes, that's a wonderful capture! Magazines pay photographers and models a lot of money for just that look. Excellent!

'lonely' gosh she is beautiful! And smalltown, I live near Sacramento and I know what she is thinking...'It's 105 degrees...I need a slurpee!'

Have to agree about "lonely", this shot just might be worthy of submitting to a magazine--
I've done the same thing about cropping out cars/people from a picture and get too much sky.
