I thought i'd post a few sunset and sunrise photo's i have taken over the past few years. This first one is a Popup Linksunrise in my home town of Newcastle in Australia.
Popup LinkLonely_walk was taken at a place called 80 mile beach which is just south of Broome in Western Australia. The tide goes out about 2 miles here and comes back in that 2 miles twice every day.
Popup LinkBahrian_dawn was taken in Bahrian one morning as the local Dhows were coming back from a nights fishing.
Popup Linkisland was taken from a friends boat whilst we were sailing around the islands of the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.
Finally Popup LinkSeal_Rocks was taken at dawn. Seal rocks is a popular fishing spot on the mid north NSW coast of Australia.

  • I very much like 'Lonely walk' and 'Bahrian dawn'. The first has an interesting monochromatic feel to it. In the sencond, the two ships are cool enough, but the dock jutting from the bottom makes the shot.

Love them all, and it's nice to visit all these different places with so many different guides...I agree with Laura about those two shot... :)      You guys down there have a very healthy ocean after all in the one pic ...it travels 8 miles every day.. must make for a great shell hunting walk for the people.
