Philippines Revisited

Just want to share a few more shots from the Philippines. The last time I was there I went up in the mountains to check on a project. Along the way I shot a few pictures. Popup Linka stream ,Popup Linka Philippine work oxen,Popup Linkanother oxen they are called Carabo,  Popup Linkburning wood for charcoal, Popup Linka country kitchen, Popup Linka boy just wanting his picture taken,Popup Linkanother bring firewood ,and lastly this is not in the mountains but since sugar cane is the main income for  this island Popup LinkSugar cane workers,
The Philippines is a poor country but I do love it dearly.

    my grandma always talked about carabo.

    poor country-but from what i hear-most of the people are in good spirit-at least my family is anyway.  they have nothing, but they have everything--if you know wha i'm trying to say.

  • Nice shots! Very enjoyable look. The last shot of the sugar cane workers is the highlight of the bunch. I was amused by the young man with the firewood--it also looks like he'd been shopping!
