I tried very hard to find shots on a mountain of Rock..theres very little... but rock, and harsh sun.... but I tried. Bald Rock..It was far cooler than I could capture for you, hope you enjoy.
One last shot that wouldn't fit in Gallery..Popup LinkDead Tree

The last shot in the gallery, was a rock on the floor of the Stone House.

These are really great pictures.  I especially liked flower on Mars and age marks.  Flower on Mars had great composition.  The DOF in age marks was amazing.  Thanks for sharing these.  There's a lot to learn from these shots I think.

I swear, this looks so much like a state park here in MO!  These are great shots; excellent detail.  I loved the one where the sun was just peeping through the rocks.  Thanks for taking me on the hike!

You did GOOD chef.  I'll have to take the left turn from the path next time. Too bad vandals had to carve an eye in Dino, I would have preferred it as God made it. Your pictures are way better than mine.  And I couldn't get one of the Lizzy's to stop long enough.  Wonderful job, I'm glad I took you to this spot of God's country.

I really liked these pictures.  The Dead Tree is my favorite.....it's a really calming photograph.  I don't know how you do it though - I thought taking a picture towards the sun was impossible!
At least I always end up with a black subject when I try it :)

Agree, all good pics, and the ironing boards--think they might be difficult to work with.
But in all honesty, nature is wonderful
