A good time at Ocktoberfest - and much much more!

My best friend Popup LinkLouis and I take a trip every year somewhere in the world.  A few years ago it was Ocktober fest in  Popup LinkMunich, Germany.   It was an amazing time, we saw the Popup LinkGlockenspeil, some great Popup Linkarchitecture and definitely some interesting historical sights like the Popup LinkHofbrauhaus.  But we were there for Ocktoberfest.  The first sign were getting close was this crazy Popup LinkHorse ... around the corner from that was the Popup LinkLowenbrau House located at the heart of the festival.  You'd never believe it but this is Popup Link9 o'clock AM and over 15K people are drinking!!!!  So, in all honesty se decided to go on a binge.  Well, that certainly deserves a
Popup LinkCHEERS! don't you think.
Next it was on a Popup Linktrain going to Popup LinkPrague home of the famous Popup LinkCharles Bridge and great architecture Popup Linkstreet 1, Popup Linkstreet 2, Popup Linksquare.   There were some absolutely beautiful Popup Linkcolors , Popup Linkwindows, Popup Linkstatues,  Popup Linkflowers, Popup Linktrees and Popup Linkcars?
On the journey we met a friend Popup LinkBarb who took us through aPopup Linkcorridor and up this incredibly long Popup Linkstairwell  to see an awesome  Popup LinkChurch.   After that hike we went for a drink overlooking the Popup Linksquarefrom before.  We jumped a train to Amsterdam and as soon as we got there it was straight to a Popup Linkcoffee shop where all memories where lost.

Thank god I have a camera.

    I've never been there; looks like a very photogenic place! Loved all the architecture and Prague and Charles Bridge....super shots!

    Looks like a blast! I've seen different shows do segments on Octoberfest. We have a mini-Octoberfest here in Michigan. A small town called Frankenmuth. It's a German Bavarian town. It's pretty cool to go to, eat alot of brats and drink alot of beer.

    My family is doing Octoberfest next weekend. I think I am going to bring chicken corn soup. Too bad I can't swill beer though! Boo Hoo! I really enjoyed this post. I bet their bathrooms are really busy....cause you never own a beer, only renting.

    NA beer for ya TT. It's not the same but get's you in the spirit of Octoberfest. Never had chicken corn soup, sounds good, our fav. here is ham chowder, sounds weird but its good.

    Munich is my 2nd home! I love that city and all its people! Oktoberfest is just amazing too. You have to go at least once in your life. Great post!

    Natedawg ... good eye on the car. I was doing some doghnuts ina Breckenridge parking lot and blew bead on the tire. completely flat, it was awesome. DFL
