I'm not sure how I could pick a best of 2005 shot.  Although I didn't shoot a tenth of the photos this year that I'd have liked to, every one I did take means something to me.  So choosing my best photo would be like a parent choosing their favorite child.  

So here is my entry to the contest, portrait category.  I chose it because it's the photo that means the most to me, the one that I'm most glad to have taken.
