Went to park last weekend...it so amazing how Gabriel is so fascinated with every little thing...I guess we can all learn from that:)

Nice color. Love his little hand grabbing on. And I agree, we can definitely learn a lot from those who know so little. :)

    Great shot!!! :o)

I love the color and composition of this shot. I agree with Blizz about the hand reaching up.

    - One size does not fit all

The shot/theme is good; I would’ve appreciated it more if there were both hands in the shot. I feel it would give it the allusion of the child pulling himself up. Another composition would be both hands, & the top of his head, this would the allusion of curiosity. Again this is my opinion

    Interesting shot. Like the color.

With all due respect, Mike......... Being a mother of a beautiful and wonderfully curious 2 year old boy, I find it hard to nearly impossible to get my child to pose. I've tried. I either get playful rebellion, tears of fustration, "blink of an eye" cooperation, and many other outcomes. I find the best way to take pictures of a child is just keep your camera on and let them play. Document those moments. Sure, I have thoughts in my head on how a certain shot could have been better, but when it comes to small children, you take what you can get. With patiences and love, sometimes (just sometimes) you can get that perfect shot. :)

Blizz; Trust me I know kids are almost impossible to shoot, so you take what you get. Animals are just as bad. That’s why I shoot Street Art & subjects you can control. Those two scenarios would’ve been in a perfect world. Take care

    WOW! Excellent image!

this is so good..like the blue color in it and can imagine the little one reaching..I can even imagine a smiley face inside the fountain.

Thanks for the comments Mike...but isn't it amazing and fun to catch shots that are not in your control? This shot of Gabriel is what he gave me at the moment...and I wasn't trying to pose him or trying to do anything other than capturing his sense of fascination....and capturing it truthfully...no pose, no thought of intent other than capturing a moment in time....and I absolutely love the way it was captured...nothing more nothing less...to me it has a sense of honesty and truthfulness and I guess that's what special about it to me as a father...To me it is a photo truly about Gabriel...and not about me trying to get an amazing pose or composition. I think when you think too much about a pose or try to get a pose...you loose the magic of capturing the moment....just my opinion...I think that's one thing great about photography...capturing moments in time truthfully...IMHO :)
