The first place Barb and I had as man and wife was a garage converted into a one-room apartment with a bath. I don't remember what the rent was but I remember I called it our studio apartment. Great challenge post, HOG! Brings back memories.

cozy spot...it may seem small...however, for 10 years I shared a cell with another man as small as 45sqft and nothing bigger than 80sqft. My place is small, too, @ 250sqft; but it's mine and I'm the only man. (Wish there was a woman...oh well)

yea it's perfect for me. I'm a simple man don't need much but a place to sleep and my computers. My daughter brought me the bed cover for christmas shortly after the divorce, so I use it all the time. She gets a kick out of it everytime she visits me.
