It seems as though lately, in this record setting November for rainfall amounts, that one storm trails the next.  Here's just a little hint of light between the fronts...just to let us know that there's Hope on the other side of the clouds.Touch of Light

Oh, this is a shot of the northwest that makes me homesick for it. This is the kind of weather, prairie and mountains that I think of when I think of living there. Love the shot!!!

Thanks for all of the kind comments...I haven't posted for awhile for a number of reasons....first my computer crashed and I spent a couple of days rebuilding everything from scratch...after that we got nailed with rain....rain...and more rain. Even though we live on a river we were never concerned for our home or property, but there were a couple of nights we were isolated from everywhere else, as all of the roads leading home were either covered in water or completely washed out. It's easy to give thanks in light of the fact that so many homes in the region were flooded or swept away by rivers gone over their banks. Then came the high winds and the damage that comes with that....and again God blessed us with his care and protection. Needless to say, with all of this going on all around us, it's been hard to focus (no pun intended) on photography......but I'll be easing into this again.....Thanks for your notes and comments and forgive me for not answering sooner....
