The Side Trip

I was supposed to go shopping today to get some last minute things for our Thanksgiving dinner...well I took a little side trip and took some pictures, these being among them.  I was gone about an hour or more then I should have been...but I'm not sure I was even missed in all of the commotion.

    When I heard the weather report this morning I thought about you because they said that the north west was supposed to get two feet of snow in the mountains. That means rain for you guys right? Hope that you had a good Thanksgiving anyway. Loved the Kings Courtroom.

    I like the first shot best, but I wonder what it would look like to have the log out of focus and put the main focus on the cabin in the back?
