EVES OF CHRISTMAS

As I drove with my brother (thrilled as much as every child who was trying, but unable to sleep being filled with the excited anticipation of Christmas morning) because he had given me for my birthday only four days earlier the camera I used to take this photograph.
As we weaved thru the back streets of Babylon Village on Long Island, New York I was lulled by the peaceful and simple serenity of this home.I hope that as you view this photo you will share with me and experience these same emotions.

Nice story. I know what you about about looking at a particular house and that peaceful feeling comes over me. Nice job.

Looks like a "homey" home.......but, the image needs some work. House is tilted just a bit, too much camera shake and too much grainyness for my tastes.........keep practicing with the new camera; I'm sure you'll get the hang of it!

I am with Kay on this shot. It is way to grainy and soft which may be the reason for it looking out of focus. Also the house is not straight. Keep on working with the camera. You will get it. Use the manual. I still use mine for certain things. As someone called it to me your camera bible.
