  • I don't see much there worth getting worked up over if you already have a 20D. With the few differenced if I was in the market I think I'd watch and see what prices do on the now "old" 20D. May be some good bargins to be had.

  • I can understand that but.... As fast as things turn around anymore if you keep waiting to buy something you will be shooting with an Instamatic forever. Do like I do and just don't look at prices after you get what you want. My next one will be full frame but I'm not in any hurry on it. As long as Canon stays with the EF lenses I'll buy a couple more chunks of glass before another body.

  • When it blows it blows and I'll grab my old 10D body to use till the new one gets here whatever it is.

  • Don't get me wrong...I don't regret it in the least, and I know I will be happy with the 20D for years to come...

You know, I thought along the same lines before buying my Rebel XT....there'll be something else come along that I'll like better, or, the next step up will knock the price down on this one, so I should wait..... Glad I bought when I did, and am very pleased with what I got. I've still got a lot of learning to do on this one.....I'd hate to get one that was more complicated. Congrats, Chris! Let's see some of your work with the new camera! That's ok, Tom......you know you're outnumbered.....j/k :)

I'm with you Kay, the Rebel is a great learning camera for us, it's a good middle man so to speak. Someday I hope graduate up to something bigger, but for now my camera is my favorite thing on earth, non breathing thing, my kids are my favorite, well right at this moment until the yelling and fighting starts...lmao

  • Hello guys, I first started serious photography a year ago. But have been shooting with my APS camera for 3 years. Now, I own a REBEL XT and I think it's the best dSLR to start with. Features are more like the 20D (only with a small grip). I get good photos out of it and even won in national competitions :) Sinulog 2006 Photo Contest - 1st Runner-up Over-all Best Picture I wish 20D would get cheaper once 30D starts shipping. I'm ready for the next body. Here are some of priceless photos The Bajao People. In a 3rd World country like the Philippines, these so called BAJAO PEOPLE are famous for their diving skills. Whenever ships approach the docks, these people would beg for coins from passengers and when tossed into the waters, they dive for it.
