Roaring Fork Motor Trail- Gatlinburg, TN

  Last October, (early October, naturally the leaves hadn't changed yet) the wife and I took a trip back to Gatlinburg, GSMNP, BlueRidge Parkway area.  One morning before hitting the stores in Gatlinburg we drove on the Roaring Fork Motor Trail eventually parking and hiking back to Grotto Falls.
  Right after we started, we rounded a curve and drove thru a herd of wild turkeys. By the time I got my coffee and breakfast stowed and out of the car they had melted away into the woods.  So, if you ever take this trail be warned and be ready.
