Okay, a few last shots from the brand new Georgia Aquarium.

Popup LinkContrasting Fish 1/60sec, f4, 36mm equiv

Popup LinkLeafy Sea Dragon - what else can I say... 1/20sec, f5.6, 82mm equiv

Popup LinkVery cool lighting from above 1/20sec, f5.6, 82mm equiv

Popup LinkGroup Shot 1/45sec, f5, 57mm equiv

Popup LinkPretty Colors 1/45sec, f5.6, 78mm eqiv

Popup LinkBlue Jelly 1/125sec, f5.6, 82mm equiv

These are all pretty much "as shot" With Nikon D50 with an 18-55mm zoom. (And just a tiny bit of level adjust and/or cropping.) On the last one, they had some funky lighting to make them really stand out (as you can see.). It was very cool.

cool vacation shots..Blue Jelly reminded me of shots we tried to take in Monterey Aqu. You did good!

The leafy sea dragon and the blue jelly were my favorites. I think we are going to have to make a trip to this aquarium.

My faves are cintrast, sea dragin & blue jelly in this order, just beautiful

Blue jelly is fantastic. Cherish, the numbers are how fast the shutter was set, and how "open" or "closed" the iris or apature was when the shot was taken. Don't sweat it, but it does help to know sometimes.

Loved'em all, Saxguy. Man, this makes me want to go somewhere soon. I'll have to talk to the old lady. She'll probably extort a casino trip out of me.

The Blue Jelly shot is just great--would look great enlarged and framed on the wall. The contrasting fish shot looks like a bunch of little tape measures surrounding the big fish!
