This is the last installment of pictures from my photo outing two weeks ago. On my way home from Bulls Bridge I noticed this abondandoned old barn on the side of the road...

I also put together my first ever free-stitch panoramic shot. This is compiled from 5 separate images...Popup Link Broken Barn Panorama

[edit]: I removed the scrollbars from the pano shot. If you don't see the whole thing, either open it in a new window, or use your arrow keys to scroll...

Nice location for playing. And a nice stitch...but could you have at least left out the vehicle? Geez Code man. And go back and shoot that green bottle some more...I like that.

    - blow.....hard

You did well. It looks like a neat find - one that you might want to return to. I like your panorama picture, but it is too bad that the car is on it. That shot with the green bottle is really interesting.

Colors are fantastic in the barn shots; I really like the contrasts. And, I love the green jug shot; there's just something about it...... Great stitch job!

All enjoyable. Green jug, many different textures and shapes. And I saw the whole pano. The barn looks familiar, I think my second cousin once lived there. :)

  • Pyro43
Good shootin', Chris. Good stitch job. And the green bottle -----must be from Thunderbird '05. :-)

    - Mmmmmm... Multiplicative

Nice pano, did you use the free auto stitch program? I have used it and enjoyed the results, and especially the price! I have been trying a few photo editors, i have played with photo impact 11 trial download, and a free editor called the GIMP It is actually pretty good, probably better than the impact 11. I've looked at phot shop in the store but havent had any hands on to see how it works. anyone have any other suggestions??

  • codepoit
This panorama was done in Photoshop CS. I have heard really good things about the GIMP, but haven't tried it myself. I am pretty happy with PS CS...

The car...I know! Problem is, that's my car...and there was absolutely no where else to park it. Believe me, I tried! And I didn't want to cut off the end of the barn... Thanks for the comments, everyone!

Love the stitched shot. I really gotta learn to do that. My little camera has something called 'stitch assist' but I haven't had a chance to explore what it does yet.

Saw the whole thing, great 'stitching', please don't think I am crazy but when I looked at cement silo the first thing that came to my mind was a verrrrrrrry hairy person. Sure like the color and brightness of the green bottle.

I like the pano, the barn directly in front looks like its curved (also nice car that is conveniently in the shot ;-)

  • DGitAL
Nice shots, love the "cement silo" keep on going back there... don't know why......
