These were all shot, cept 1, at 10mm. Shot RAW, Converted to B & W in RAW and a Red Filter applied. The first two are what I call Shoe Tip Photos that sometimes work sometimes don't. I put the camera on Manual Focus and focus out about 2 ft. Then I place the camera on top of my shoe and just shoot. No framing, nothing, about 1 out of 20 come out but it's fun cause I don't know what I got till I get home.

  • I came up with it cause I was on a Wet sandy beach in Oregon and I wanted the shot and wanted to support my camera but not get it sandy so I put it on top of my shoe. LOL

  • These are stunning shots. I especially like 7. The contrast and texture is beautiful. It goes from the brightest white at the top to a deep ebony at the bottom. Simply gorgeous.

North, it's a filter effect you can use in Photoshop, they are for black and white images, different colors affect the tones of a black and white photo. You can use them on your camera lens or use the ones PS offer, certain cameras have the option built into them also.

Fantastic shots - I like them all especially the "shoe tip" photos. That is a neat idea that I will have to try sometime. I think the starfish one is really beautiful.
