The Frozen Waterfall

Last year, my husband and I went on a snowshoe hike in search of a frozen waterfall! We tried the weekend before, but somehow we made a wrong turn.. Knowing how tough the trail was the first time. I really... didn't want to go again so soon. But boy was it worth it.... We did go to breakfast first.. here. Popup Link

Old Mill Inn Next to the inn is a pond. Popup Link

Pond The Inn leaves a big barrel of food around to feed the ducks. Popup Link

Next it was on to the hike... Just as we started our hike this is what we came across.... Popup Link waterfall Then it just kept getting better!!!!..Along the way ..Looking through the waterfall... ...Taking it all in . It was well worth the long hard hike in!!!!

very nice. I especially like looking through the falls. i hope you didn't get too wet, looks cold. I live not far from there. Have you been to Doane's Falls in Royalston?

Looking through is awesome, particularly as I will never see on in person (I am allergic to snow and cold climates, he he). This is the only way I can enjoy the frosty side of the world.

I love waterfalls too!! It had to be awfully cold to freeze waterfalls...Brrrrrrrr!! Love them all especially "looking through....."! Great pics ;=D
