Loved the shot, warm colors, the way she's looking at her hand on the wall, lotta story in this pic. Great evocative shot! After 33 years of, faithful, honest, marriage I have no idea what Barb wants... but I know I better give it to her.

Although the shot seems pose, it's BEAUTIFUL in nature. Stunning backlight, color, and the way she's standing... thoughtful...makes me go "Hmm...whats' she thinkin' " I really like it!!!

Great shot. I especially like the elongated shadow of her hand. The only suggestion would have been to have her stand a little bit further to the left to take away the hot spot, which tends to take the eye away from that shadow, which in my mind is the highlight of the shot.

thank you all for the kind words ;-) tom... that's a good observation. while i'm not a fan of the hot spot i don't mind it. i could have changed the framing of the shot by either moving her or myself but i wanted her right in the middle of the doors. i could remove the effect if the hotspot with some cloning and burning in photoshop... maybe i'll give it a shot in another post and we'll see how it looks. -d
