I was home (middle Georgia) for an extended weekend (Dentist appt - whee). I had some time yesterday to roam the roads, and despite the fact it was below freezing a couple of times over the weekend, farmers were out plowing their fields and I finally had a sense that Popup Link

spring is here.

I do agree with Kay that the framing is nice, but I think you need to dial down the saturation.

I'll look on uncalibrated monitor at work, but the colors look true here. FYI, the dirt really is red (red clay). thanks for feedback all! Time to make the doughnuts...

The ground looks a hair more red than it really is on monitor at work, but this monitor also has issues with color - i.e. my gray menu bar has a pink hue to it, so I never depend on what I see here... Our soils do tend to be red

Great shot. Excellent composition. BTW, I just purchased an add on to my PC that is called Huey Calibration Tool. It will calibrate your monitor and then maintain calibration even when the lighting in the room changes. It has really helped me in my editing/printing.

JackinTX, I have the same calibrator at home. The work monitor I've been hesitant to deal with. Technically we're not supposed to install software, yadda yadda, but today was the last day of pink-hued Gray. I won't leave it at work to do the room lighting change (where I work there's no sunlight anyway, so the lighting is constant). On my calibrated monitor, the image looks true to life, so I'm happy with it anyway. Thanks again for all the comments!
