I was driving in town and decided to take an alternate route. I came across something I hadn't seen in the 10 years I've been here. With a quick jerk on the wheel, I quickly pulled over and spotted this.....Popup Linkblk/wht shed & tree Popup Linkcolor shed & tree Popup Linkblk/wht shed Popup Linkcolored shed I shot these in both black and white and color to give some variation.I'm thinking of doing a Lomo effect on these shots and post them at another time. I think it would be intense.Whatcha think??

Good Shots, SS! I like both color versions. I think the rust looks good. Agree with Kay, I would like to see the lomo effect tried on both. I've developed my own effect, similar to lomo, I start with a beautiful scene and take a bad photograph of it... I call it the "loho" effect.

I think they are great shots. I like the perspective a lot. I do think that the B&W's might benefit from a little more contrast to punch them up a bit. Good work!

  • My fav of the lot (all good) is the last, color shed solo. I agree that the rust is just what makes those shots and B&W is good, but not the same. I'm not sure what's to the right of the tree, but on the shot with the tree, I'd be tempted to try stepping a little to your left and getting a more angled view of the shed with the tree more behind it? My lowly 2 cents worth.

I always go for the color. That's just my eye I guess, I do enjoy seeing the posts in b/w and comparing them. Would like to see the lomo.
