Dang. You guys are starting to get on my nerves.

Here I am, desperately trying to catch up with the last three challenges and y'all start a fourth one while I'm not looking.

Well, Fine.

Let's see. The challenges are: Architecture, Reflections, Signs and now Strangers. I think I've gotten them covered this week:

Popup LinkThe Capitol at night and Popup LinkWashington Monument at Night cover the Reflections and Architecture categories, and I'll throw these in as proof I know how to take pictures during the day, too:

Popup LinkWashington Monument by Day, and Popup LinkUdvar-Hazy Center

For the Signs challenge, I offer this cheating entry:

Popup LinkReflections on a Memorial

and for a straight reflection I offer this:

Popup LinkReflecting on War.

Now, for the subject of strangers, I'm afraid I can only offer one stranger, and one person doing something strange:

Popup LinkMaking Memories

Popup LinkCurse of the Were-Rabbit.

On that last picture, I swear I've no connection to that girl, I don't care what her mother says!

very nice post! Love the views of DC--all very nice, my fave being "Reflecting on War". The reflection of someone you can't otherwise see--cool.

Great shots, Troll, making memories is my fave, for the back story. Too young for a father maybe a grandfather?

Ioweho, A grandfather or an uncle is my guess; there were several kids taking turns making rubbings of the same name. Thank you all for the nice feedback!

These are very good and I especially like the Udvar-Hazy Center shot. The war memorial is always an emotional and unreal subject. Thanks for sharing.

*blush* I suppose I should admit that the idea for the sun-behind-the-monument photos came from watching a couple of photographers obviously scrambling to get a certain angle on the Washington Monument. After they were done, I went and stood there and went "Oooohhhhh! I get it!"
