Let There Be Lightning!

OK...I know this isn't the best picture of lightning but it is my first "real" attempt at capturing it so I thought I'd share. It was taken through a window being pounded with rain and with a lens crudely wiped off after being caught in the storm.

What I like about this photos is the tiny city lights at the bottom, and how the lightning seems to reach for them. Great shot!

Daren, What don't you like about it? The bolt is off-center, but not badly; it seems to me that it actually follows the rule of 3rds. I think it adds drama to the photo.

O.T - I like the compositon...I don't like the clarity. I just wish I could have taken it from outside instead of behind the dirty window but the rain chased me in. I guess that happens when you're photographing a storm huh?
