Clocks, Big Ben, and Tower Bridge are my favorites! Looks like a great new toy & you know how to work it!

  • I REALLY like Clocks and Tower Bridge. The subdued background colors makes the clocks really POP! The "Industrial" look of the architecture in the background really lends to the "Mechanical" nature of the clocks. (Glad you did not elect to go with a narrow depth of field and left the background in focus.) And Tower Bridge: Outstanding composition and the colors are beautiful. The frenetic rush of red and white lights across the bridge give this photo such energy. Also, the juxtaposition of the old, stone tower with the new, modern suspension system makes this really interesting. I hope you don't mind, but I am using it as my new computer background. Well done. BTW: I like the bus in Big Ben, but the way the tower leans makes the overall effect a bit disconcerting (for me) Good shootin!!

Clocks and Tower Bridge were my favorites... would have liked to see these resized smaller so I could view the whole picture as one without scrolls bars.

  • Absolutely incredible. I mean, really, incredible. Nice treatment of Big Ben and Tower Bridge...it's hard to shoot familiar landmarks in a new way but you did it. And clocks...my god. Gold stars to you!

  • I really liked Tower Bridge. The light streaks on the cars, and the starbursts on the lights made this photo for me.

Thanks for that response! The Big Ben, Tower Bridge and Clocks are my favourites too. Of course anyone is free to use it as a desktop background. For the Tower Bridge shot I think I did a 20" exposure at F32, ISO 200.
