Great shots...your lucky to see this...the males were doing what is called the vulture dance...it is the display put on for the females....

Man, Jimmy is a wealth of knowledge!!! These vultures are ugly. I was stalking one today, and had no problem at all scaring him off... All I did was look at him... Does that mean something about me?!? And, please follow Paulamouse's advice... I sure wouldn't want to hear details of what might come next!! Fun post, Penny!

I wanted to take someone....haaahummmmm....Lil with me today but she wasn't home. So don't let her make it sound like it was my fault!!! ;0) I had a great picture day today and over 200 shots all before 11:00 a.m. So only about 15 that I like....My day off and I got up and went stalking whatever I could find. Next time Lil will have to go.... :0)

Great shots!! I see them circling high above but never that close. They do have a wonderful wing span, but as said before.... must of been hit by the ugly stick on the head. :o)
