Here it is, the last weekend of the strangers challenge, (my first since joining) and I have yet to work on the assignment. (sigh) Reminds me of my school days.

Since I'm up against the wall, I'm going to submit one old picture, and one new.  The Popup Linkold picture was taken last fall on a trip up north.  I'd noticed this bench earlier in the day around noon, and when I came back after 5 this lovely couple was sitting and watching the lake.  I'd noticed them holding hands earlier that afternoon too.  They were a great couple together.  Just for the fun of it, I tried to punch it up a little digitally.

I usually don't like black and white, so I added a little touch of color.

This morning I was out patrolling a graveyard in search of an interesting picture, when I stumbled upon these guys enjoying some time off.

I'm going to do better at the next challenge.  Really...I am!

Ok This is the first time I have ever seen anyone fish in a grave yard. Or is this one of those mafioso type graveyards where they just dump the bodies in the river....LOL..Liked the fishing pic

  • Erin, I specialize in the kind of photography where I can get the maximum amount of fun for the least amount of work! That's why I'm so good at procrastinating. There's always an excuse to do it later! Jump, the assignment at my local camera club this month was graveyards. I went to about 5 different cemeteries throughout mid-Michigan, and saw people fishing in three of them. Maybe there's something to your mafioso theory. Y'know the reputation Detroit has...
