Happy Emotion

We have an annual Christmas party in January and I organize it for my husband. Anyway dummy me planned it on our 12th wedding anniversary. (I forgot) When my husband got up to do his thank you to everyone,he proceeded to ask me to Popup Link

remarry him. He had invited my Popup Link

sisters and other family and hid them until the appropriate time. He had lost his wedding ring years before & had the minister Popup Link

bless his new one with this union. Our 1st wedding consisted of 30 people, 10 of which were our newly combined Popup Link

kids.This time there were 250. The emotions that night for me ran from Love, to surprise,to elation. I am a very lucky lady! P.S. We are down to only 3 kids left at home!!

Yes, its been tons of fun, happiness, pride, frustration, anger, heartache, you name it. With that many kids every day was a circus...but we got through! Now the grandkids are starting...4 as of now!

Super post, bugaboo! You can see the joy in the bless photo! Barb and I got maried at the Justice of the Peace, 33 years ago while I was home on leave, and the only ones there were our parents. We always tell everyone don't get married at the JP cause they don't last. But I was going to ask a friend who's a minister to remarry us for our 30th anniversary but she got sick and passed away and we never did it. Maybe the 40th. Barb, would probably rather elope to Vegas.

Loweho, The Little Chapel of the West in Vegas is great so check it out if you do,(one of the oldest) a couple of friends of ours renewed there & it was wonderful.

So glad things worked out well for the two of you and the house full of kids......can't imagine having that many.....I am the oldest of seven and that is a lot, and then to have more.....Congrats on all accounts......you really look happy and what a nice surprise your husband had for you.
