Kazu has spent the past few weeks in Germany.  This past weekend Kazu sampled the many gastronomic delights of Heidelberg.  Kazu learned that she has a real weakness for pils. Here is Kazu with a Popup Linkbeer mustache. Kazu Popup Linkcouldn't get enough. Then there was Popup Linkthe chocolate. So many chocolate bars and so little time. Kazu felt most at home Popup Linkwith the cocoa. As if that wasn't enough cause for indigestion, Kazu had to check out Popup Linkthe curry and Popup Linkthe spices. Well, it was a great trip and Kazu is now on her way to Michigan.   Hope she has great travels.

Hi Tom, you might want to keep an eye on Kazu. Too much of that beer and other good things, shes going to be looking at a hangover and a stomach ache. Good shots cute imagery.

  • Isn't Kazu a 'he'?. Maybe not; Kadzu looked at home amongst the chocolate!

  • Good question, it's hard to tell, but being the father of two daughters, I've gotten used to re-gendering he-types to she-types when reading books aloud. I get aggravated with authors always giving seemingly genderless creatures the male gender. For example, why is it that the only female pig in the Three Pigs story gets gobbled up by the wolf. Not when I read it she doesn't. So I figured, why couldn't Kazu be a she? I sure didn't see anything that confirmed it one way or the other if you get my drift. ;-)

  • Maybe the reason I saw Kazu as female is that I've also got two daughters ( as well as 6 nieces and 1 nephew)!

Good post, Tom. Gosh, I've been so busy I didn't see it until now. Regarding gender...I think Kazu is a "he" and Hana is a "she".
