my 10yo grandson said that this would make a good pic. so i helped him set the camera up in manual and showed him how to work the self timer and the zoom and he took this pic of the corner of his Popup Link

living room.(no ps) tell him what you think.

Matt, you already have what many lack = Talent. You are naturally able to focus on your subject and capture a great image. I encourage you to capture images of what you like, it will be very satisfying. Remember, if the image did not come out like you liked, try again, do something a little different, like shifting position a little. Maybe grandpa will splurge and buy you your own camera so you guys can take trips around town or mug for each other and take goofy shots...,it's all about having fun!

Matthew, this is very much a still life. You might like to go back and view some of the old posts on STILL LIFE and see for yourself how well you've done. I'm impressed, keep your eyes open and get Gramp to continue to help! You are on your way to great photography! I'd even suggest you visit an art museum ... just for more insight!
