I like pride, squirrel, male ruby, dogwood, and dandelion. All are great shots, Kay! In Birds, it's obvious the males are brighter than the females... Is this true across the animal kingdom? Just a thought, maybe Rock knows!

I believe it is, low. At least, with the birds I am familiar with, the male is the one with all the dark coloring.......doesn't hardly seem fair to me, though...... :) The squirrel was in the park running around with it's buddies when I got there.....guess it decided to pose and get it over with so I wouldn't follow it around trying to get a shot of it!
