AP News Bulletin: At exactly 5:00 PM GMT, (12noon EST) photographers around the world clicked their shutters in the first ever syn chronic photographic statement. Tomitake, located in Japan, of Photographica.com, a photographic Internet community where photos are shared, had proposed the idea and all members of the community had joyously embraced it. Photographs were shot at exactly 5:00 PM GMT by over one hundred people as far away as Singapore and Australia. Our Brooklyn correspondent questioned Pablo Jonsey (French pronunciation as in Joansay) located in Little Odessa and he stated "The cable guy came at 11 and stayed till 11:50, giving me 10 minutes to synchronization. He kept asked me what my favorite channels were. I realized I might be in the elevator at 12, so I stepped out on to my balcony. When I pressed the camera shutter at exactly 12 noon, with the church bells pealing, in sync with all my cousins located throughout the world, the hairs stood up on my forearm."Tomitake plans to repeat this event in the near future. When pressed to congratulate Tomitake, Pablo Jonsey uttered a Japanese "thank you" that sounded a little like Hadeki Matsui.
