I was on a golf course, officiating the Idaho Golf Association Men's State Fourball Championship. Popup Link

Driving home tonight I was listening to the BBC. At 10:00pm Idaho time, the radio announcer said, "It is 4:00 GMT." Tomitake's table said 5:00GMT = 10:00MDT, so now I'm confused. Anyway, I took a picture.

I made sure I was far enough away from any tees or greens that my alarm didn't disturb anyone. I've had that happen before - very embarrassing for the Rules Official to break the rule of no cell phones on the course.

We all took our shots at 4:00 PM GMT, aka 1600 GMT. Because of BST..British Summer Time, London is an hour ahead of GMT. The important thing though was that everyone shoot at the same time..we did that, just not at 5:00 PM, GMT.
