I recently went for afternoon drive instead of walk with my youngest. We ended up not a few roads but a county over for most of these shots. We found several barns. The first
barn , I had to get from the road because my dughter couldn't make the trip to this field. The second
barn had a rusted horse corral in front. I loved the way the colors turned out in this one. But the most meaningful was this last one.
We actually knocked on the front door to walk back for these next shots. This
barn and the surrounding field gave us plenty of cool shots. I couldn't resist taking the
barn from a different angle. Then we came across the
VW bug and it's kin out in the
field. The
silo we found with a tree growing out of the top. I also managed to get a pretty good shot of the rolling
landscape. And a beautiful blue eyed
horse.
Monday we visited the Birmingham Zoo, in the children's zoo we found an
old truck , a
stump , a
wheel & of all things they used an
outhouse for the spider exhibit. The oddest thing we saw was the
albino alligator . The greatest moment all day though was watching my kids feed the
Lorikeets. We have enjoyed this challenge. Thanks for the words of encouragment.
