Grand Cirlce

Since I had such a postive response from the Spring "Chicken" post. I thought I would share just a couple of shots from our Grand Circle vacation a few weeks ago. The weather did not cooperate very well so great pictures were far and few between. I love to visit our National Parks and have thousands of pictures from them. If you have a favorite park please let me know and I will post up one or two of them for you.

  • Picture #3 is the best of the lot. I would prefer the shot with lower horizon to show more of the sky to make it more dramatic. I wish I was there. I probably would have shot a hundred shots of the same spot from different perspectives. I am sure you had a great time.

Sego Canyon, I agree, deb, the subtle hues in the rock and paintings is what I enjoyed about it. We were at Bryce and Zion about 20 years ago. Would like to go back some day!

  • Thank you all for the comments. more info on the pictures, It was very cold at Bryce, wanted to backpack there but could not for the 30 inches of snow. Near Moab shot is on Rt 128 between Moab and Fisher Towers. A gorgeous highway. And lastly Sego Canyon, near Thompsom Utah. The eeriest place I have ever been. Felt like I was being watched the entire time I was there. Very spooky place.
