The Hague

When I was living in The Hague (The Netherlands) there were certain images you would see on a regular base, like the Popup Linkcasino, and Popup Linkhet Kurhaus,  Popup Linkthe lighthouse  in Scheveningen, and of course Popup Linkde Pier and just the Popup Linkbeach and the many, many  Popup Linkseagulls. On the other side of the city is the soccer stadium in  Popup Linkhet Zuiderpark. If you have seen it all, it's time to throw some darts and have a beer in a cosy Popup Linkbar But if you still want to see some more you can take a windmill tour.

    Somehow I don't think of beaches when I think of the Netherlands. My heritage is from that country and my husband was born there in North Holland. I really like the windmill picture and the lighthouse - thanks for the tour.
