Yesterday I had been out in the courtyard looking at the color in my neighbors flower bed, and noticing some things that weren't there last week.  Then as I was walking across the lawn I looked down and noticed this hiding in the grass.  Then I started to look around and saw that  there were more of them that the heavy rains brought out.  When I got back to my own area I saw these very tiny red buds.  I actually have been stalking a small rabbit that is hiding in the bushes in front of my condo, but he is so fast I am going to have to be really patient in order to capture his picture.
