Am trying another entry for the theme..think they will fit the category..We were at the in-laws this evening (and did remember to take camera along).
Years ago my father-in-law had a Popup LinkGas Tank on his property that was used for the farm equipment. For all you young folks we used to pay this for gas.. Popup Link``` and Popup Link``` , believe it or not.
It amases me that this Popup LinkStructure is still standing, there are all kinds of 'things' in the shed, for some reason this Popup LinkChain caught my attention before coming to the old  Popup LinkChevy..went around another structure and these  Popup Linkangels drew me, don't think the gauge had any water in it, but can tell that it has been there for some time.
Ah, the good old days when gas was cheap.

"Chevy" is a really nice shot! It's hard to believe that gas was ever that cheap. When I started driving it was still less then a dollar.

I don't ever remember gas being that cheap; I do remember it being like 75 cents......yeah, good ol' days....... You found some neat stuff today! Gas pump is great, as is the Chevy and structure. I also like the angels in sepia. Good shootin'!

The chevy and the gas tank were the shots that I liked the most. Gas was 53 cents a gallon on the day I got my liscense. I remember, because my dad made me put gas in the Plymouth Valiant before I could drive it that night. I actually remember gas wars when I was a kid and have seen gas as low as 19 cents a gallon.

Like the Chevy and Structure. Amazing that it's still standing. I remember gas wars down around Tampa in 1971. Gas was 12 and 13 cents a gallon. Can you believe they had wars to see who could sell it the cheapest? Really good post.
