I had this idea 2 years ago but didn't do it until the other day. I'm sure glad I did! They were taken in a canola field at sunset.

Love 1--outstanding capture and I love her expression. Has great drama to it and an "otherworld-ly" feel. (Not crazy about the watering can though.)

Nicely done! I remember when we came down there (two years ago!) the canola was blooming. Love the first portrait--the light is almost unreal!

I really like the thumbnail and 1 the best. The pic of your wife IMO looks faded out. I don't care for the technique.

Looks like the old tinted b&w photos that we had before color film. Nice look, keep on playing with it, and you will get exactly what you like.

Love the thumb, and #1 and #4! The watering can is too contrived for my taste but that's me. Great light in all 4 of the canola shots. Didn't care for the effects on the portrait of your wife, she's beautiful woman and it was a good shot otherwise, and you're not a beautiful woman but I still liked your portrait.

Suggestion for the girl in the canola field - put three of them on a storyboard with a caption of some sort. All of the pictures are lovely.

Love the shots in the field, though I agree the watering can was unnecessary with that winsome young lady. Your thumb had me fooled into thinking you had scanned in some old family photos.
