I was going over some of my pictures today and I was looking at how many kinds of sky pictures I've taken lately from Popup Link

peaceful, to Popup Link

stormy. It seems like Crepuscular rays make an appearance quite frequently in my pictures, but last week I caught this Popup Link

unusual ones over the Magic Kingdom after a storm. Very different than these clouds in Iowa Popup Link

before the storm. I've just learned to keep my eyes open to see what wonders I can catch with my camera, not only for Popup Link

sunsets, like I used to.

I like Stormy and Before the Storm the best. I've always been fascinated by dark brooding clouds. Being a private pilot i can just imagine the turbulence up there. Great shots.

These are all beautiful shots; peaceful and stormy are especially wonderful! The sunset shot is gorgeous, too, but I would've straightened the horizon just a tad......

Stormy, Unusual Ones, and Before the Storm...all keepers. I agree with Marty1948, dark, brooding clouds can be fascinating. Peaceful is a good shot but constructively, you might try something like that with the monument being a little more off center, or perhaps a person/object in the foreground. Also sunset has great colors and the sky is a great backdrop for the Magic Kingdom; that can be a difficult shot because of the sunspots/flares on the lens. Sometimes, a little change in perspective or using a lens hood can work miracles by removing those spots. Good work!

Stormy looks like a watercolor painting,beautiful. The sky in Unusual though I have to say I like the best, its striking.
