Building up the gallery

I'm rather new here, so I'm slowly building up the gallery.   I'm in a position where I'm really wanting to get as much exposure as possible.  This site seems like it might be a decent way to do that.   Well, for a while, I've done mostly purely through my account at deviantART, but as decent as it is, still not exactly what I want.

Well, the following are some pics of my backlog:

Popup LinkSteak 'n' Shake has been a rather big part of my life for the last few years.   It's a great place to spend several hours, working on just about anything, open 24 hours, so they'll always welcome you.   Though I haven't been there so much during the last couple of years, it still holds a bit of importance to me.  Here's a monoscopic shot I did with my Stereo Realist.   Had some major problems with the camera that night, so this is one of the few shots that came out decent.

Popup LinkHibernia is where I live.   It's the only apartment complex I've ever seen with its own cemetery right in the middle of the complex.   But that was because Carlisle Cemetery was closely connected to the old town of Hibernia, OH.   Hibernia, though, is now folded in as part of Columbus.  I have some slides of the cemetery.  Maybe I'll post them someday once I get the slides scanned.

This was a fun shoot...  had my roommate go up and start firing the flash at the building to illuminate it even more.   The ones living there didn't really enjoy it, though.  This is some of my digital photography.

Popup LinkThe Hunting Master -- well, Jaegermeister isn't something I actually enjoy, but I love the bottles.  Another Digital photo of mine.

I love infrared photography.  I've only done digital so far, though.   These shots of Popup LinkLake Hope and Popup LinkHope Furnace are from my first major experimentation with it and remains two of my favorite shots.

Like the Jaegermeister bottles but the horizon line is off enough there and on Hibernia to make me itch.

Some very interesting stuff here. Watch your horizons and keep a clear focus....you are very creative.

Just a note.... the two that you have mentioned are older photos (by my standards, anyway). I have improved greatly since then. The photo of steak 'n' shake is the only one of the photos posted in this one taken this year, so it's a little more accurate to my current work. The horizon problem I can very much see in the Hunting Master. However, in the photo of the apartments, I don't find to be as much of a problem since the angle that it is at helps support a bit of a threatening mood.

your format is also much to small as presented try resizing to around 900 x 700 .. your avatar looks like an old Kodak ad... can you do that...

Hmmm... I tend to make things no larger than 700 wide for web viewing. I've usually received nothing but complaints about the size in the past if I went beyond that. And it's not Kodak.... combo of a scan of a View-Master personal reel and vintage View-Master Personal Camera... representation of the tools of my trade. I have no idea if this site is find with it as I've not yet familiarized myself with this site enough to know if they want photos only for avatars. Actually, there's not really much in the help to regulate the avatars much.

your avatar can be any thing you want it to be.. I was just wondering about using a trademark... Im not sure about that either... any way .. good luck look forward to more of your new stuff..

From looking over the site, there doesn't seem to be so much regulations on Avatars, as I've seen avatars with still-active copyrights, such as one of the Pink Panther... copyright status on the images I used seems to be a bit sketchy at the moment as the companies to make it are no longer in existant and who does currently hold the copyrights by default do not seem to care at all about keeping it....

I Like the avatar...I like the bottles...Apparently someone likes drinking the stuff... Keep posting...

I thought your pics of Lake Hope and the other were awesome. But of corse I am still young to this. I like the inferred that you did on these pics.
