Seeking the space between the musical notes, Howie and I walk to Bryant Park during our lunch hour.  Located at 42nd street and 5th Ave at this time of year, Bryant Park is a people's watching paradise.  The park is transformed into a free open air skating rink  during the Winter, huge white tents are erected in the park during Spring for the NYC Fashion Show, and later in the Summer the park shows classic movies on a giant movie screen.

It's a nice place to perch during lunch hour.

Looks like a lovely place to spend lunch hour. Interesting people and shades of color - dappled sunlight in some places.

  • I agree with Kay. These are so much more intimate than tourists' shots. It's a lovely way to see the city!

I probably walked those blocks 100x before, but the way you portray them shed a new spin on them. Can't wait for your next set of shots. "Mr.Tour-Guide"

  • nice park. went there by "Accident" last week while touring NYC after passign the library. funny thing, saw a large group of people gathered there and the park was fenced off. Turns out that Chris Rock was filming this movie there. took a few pictures of him and come random co-stars. maybe will post them once I organize pictures from that trip.

First and last were my choices. They both give the focus a path to follow ( #11- tom's suggestions for good photos). Well done!

Liked them all, Pablo, the last was my favorite. A nice sun-dappled walk, great light. We've always threatened to go to NY but never have. We've been to DC and we lived near Boston and visited it while I was in the service but the big city is kinda daunting for us hicks. 8o) Great post!
